A melancholic journey through a world accepting its end

Halls of Jötunn – Atmospheric Norse Dungeon Crawler RPG

The world no longer fears Ragnarök. It waits for it. In the silence of a dying age, a lone warrior returns from death with only one desire — to find his family before the world forgets what it means to remain human.

A world waiting for its final breath

A glimpse into a silent age of drowned ruins, forgotten names and a civilization slowly accepting the weight of its own ending.

The game

Ragnarök is no longer a prophecy

Halls of Jötunn is an atmospheric first-person journey through a world exhausted by its own existence.

Ragnarök is no longer a distant event. It has become a state of the world — a slow collapse of memory, faith and meaning.

You awaken at the edge of death, a broken warrior abandoned upon a rain-soaked battlefield. In that final moment, Ilar reaches toward you from the mist and offers a single bargain.

Help her reclaim what was taken from her, and she may return you to life. Yet you do not seek glory, vengeance or the salvation of gods. You seek only a way back to your family.

This is not a tale of glory. It is a journey through silence, ruin and the fragile need to protect what remains human in a world already preparing for its end.

Built around silence, weight and consequence

Halls of Jötunn is designed as a slow, oppressive and deliberate experience — where movement, combat, sound and darkness serve the emotional collapse of the world.

Brutal survival

Combat is not spectacle. It is close, heavy and uncomfortable — a physical struggle where every wound reminds the player that survival is not the same as victory.

Ritualistic ruins

Explore flooded crypts, abandoned halls and sacred places where stone, silence and ritual traces reveal a civilization losing the will to continue.

A world forgetting itself

Uncover a fractured reality shaped by broken names, dying myths and gods whose silence may be more terrifying than their wrath.

Ilar, the forgotten goddess
Story

Ilar, the wound in the memory of the world

Ilar is no longer worshipped. She survives only as a wound in the memory of the world.

Once, she was the keeper of names — a forgotten force bound to memory, identity and the hidden structure of existence itself.

To know a true name was to touch fate. To lose it was to disappear from history, prayer and self.

The gods feared what she could remember. Her name was broken, scattered and buried beneath the ruins of a world already beginning to decay.

While the world slowly accepts its own end, Ilar refuses to let it vanish in silence.

She does not guide the warrior out of mercy. She binds him to a bargain made in the final breath before death.

To Ilar, the world is memory, fate and unfinished reckoning. To him, the world is his family — and the fragile hope of returning home.

The deeper he descends into the forgotten halls, the clearer it becomes:

Ragnarök may not be something to prevent. It may be something the world has already chosen.

And still, one man tries to protect what remains human.

Myth and memory

A bargain made against the end

Beneath the storms of a dying age, among mud, blood and silence, Ilar reaches toward a warrior who should already be dead — not to save the world, but to use the last human desire that still resists its collapse.
